We meet Jim when he worked with my husband, Al Thelen at Cellular One in 1998. We remained friends even after we moved away from Florida in 2007. When ever we came down for a visit, twice a year, we always meet Jim for dinner. We always wondered what happened when we came down December 2012 and could not find where he went. We will miss him terribly. He was such a great guy and friend.We are so sorry for your loss. Jim will be missed.Al and Carol Thelen
I first met Jim in 1997 at Golds gym. We were both members and talked frequently. He had been a Realtor years ago, and as a Realtor myself for 12 years [at that time] it was fun to talk with him. We would swap stories on almost every occasion. His long time wife dorothy died in I think 1998 or 1999, and left him heart broken. Jim has 2 daughters I believe, one up north and the other in Tucson AZ I believe. I never got the chance to meet either one. Jim called me in late 2003 to sell the home on El Dorado Parkway west. We got it sold and closed for him in January 2004. He sold in order to go to Gulf Coast Village retirement home. I will always remember his small size……manicured mustache….and most of all his wit!
