James Benedict Luzzi, Jr.'s Obituary
James Benedict Luzzi, Jr. of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Lee Memorial Hospital of Fort Myers, Florida after some recent health challenges. He was 84. He was born August 3, 1933 in Greenwich, Connecticut the beloved son of the late James Benedict Luzzi, Sr. and Rose Adimari Luzzi. Professionally, he worked throughout his career as a drafstman. James proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean era. He was an avid tennis and golf player for many years and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Molito Luzzi (2008). James is survived by two children, his daughter, Nadine Friess (David) of Marlborough, Massachusetts and his son, Scott Luzzi of West Haven, Connecticut. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Luzzi of Greenwich, Connecticut. James is also the loving grandfather of two grandchildren, Justin Friess and Emily Friess both of Marlborough, Massachusetts. James also leaves behind several nieces and cousins in New York and Connecticut along with many good friends at Pine Lakes Community where he lived for 21 years.A memorial mass will be held 11am Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church 20115 N Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903.
