James Lynch's Obituary
James Lynch was born in Moyvane, County Kerry in Ireland on September 16, 1949. In 1969, he emigrated from Ireland to New York, where he worked in construction and bartending. James got married and moved to Philadelphia, where he had three daughters and worked as a landscaper for a number of years. In later years, James and his wife Tina moved to Fort Myers, where they met many wonderful friends. They made great memories in Fort Myers and enjoyed many happy hours at the Pickle-N-Pub. James had a love of horses and politics, and always had a joke to share.
James is predeceased by his loving wife Tina; his parents James and Cathy; his brothers Liam, Danny, and Mike; and the mother of his children, Bridie. He is sadly missed by his daughters Bridget, Cathy (and family), and Kerry; step-daughter Heather (and family); step-son Larry (and family); sister Mary; brothers George, John, Dennie, and Tom; sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, many friends, and his precious dog, Darcy.
A memorial Mass will be held on Friday June 17th, 2022 at 10:30AM at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord at 8121 Cypress Lake Drive Fort Myers, FL 33919.
The family would like to thank all those who took care of James during his illness; especially Crystal, Beth, and Joan. Donations can be made in James’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
