James Matura's Obituary
James Matura, 81, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 following an extended illness. He was born December 11, 1939 in Chicago, IL to James and Anne (Panek) Matura. He moved to Fort Myers from Chicago in 1985.
Mr. Matura is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen Matura; his daughter, Wendy Matura of Cape Coral and his grandchildren: Cierra, Kaleb, Dylan and Lexi. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacie Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 8, 2021 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers with Pastor Bob Lockwood officiating. Friends will be received from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Following services, Mr. Matura will be laid to rest in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
