James Phelps' Obituary
James Phelps of Lehigh Acres passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024. James was born on September 12, 1937 to his parents Joseph Ralph and Blanche Irene (Allen) Phelps in Newton Falls, New York.
Throughout his life Jim loved fishing, reading and sharing his dad jokes. He had a great love for his family and friends.
James was preceded in his passing by his beloved wife Patricia and his parents along with his brother and three sisters.
James leaves his sister Shirley Cote, his daughters Diane Pledger(Shane), Barbara Phelps(Brad Burgher), and Karen Grace(John Whatley).
He is also survived by six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
James will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
James family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with tender care of his final arrangements. He will receive family and friends on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 with a short service following at 11:30. There will be a graveside prayer at 12:00
