James A. Varney, 60, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida.?á Mr. Varney was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 28, 1951 a son of Kenneth James Varney and Nancy Joan Strittmatter.?á He was employed for many years in the construction industry as an electrician.?á A true family man he loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughters. He thoroughly enjoyed Harley-Davidson motorcycles and corvettes.?á James had resided in the Fort Myers area since 1962.?á He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shanna and Jody Finley of North Fort Myers, FL;?á his granddaughters, Grace Finley and Ella Finley; his brother, Chris Varney of Sevierville, TN and his three sisters, Carol Kimble, Barb Wiedman and Kendra Varney all of Fort Myers, FL.
