Brendan Lally lit a candle in memory of Jan Simpson
I cared for you not just with my hands, but with my heart. Every day, I watched your strength quiet, unwavering—even in your most vulnerable moments. It was an honor to sit beside you, to offer comfort when the pain was heavy, and to witness the grace with which you faced each day. You taught me more about resilience, dignity, and peace than you’ll ever know. Though you are no longer here, your memory remains in the small routines, the soft-spoken words, and the stillness where your presence used to be. I was your caregiver, but you gave me far more than I could ever give you. Rest in peace!
Love Vilda 💔
JP was a pleasant and outgoing person.
He’s missed.
I remembered JP though the band crossroads. He is the man of musical talents. As he said, more cowbell. I was a backup drummer, remembering the songs that we did. May his musical talents be in our hearts.
JP reminded us all that music is memory, and love is louder than any disease.
He sang with passion and quiet strength, giving so much of himself every time.
Thank you, JP, for being part of our Intermezzo story.
You are deeply missed.
With love,
Els

J.P. holds a place in my heart and life that no one else could have! His creativity, joy, and humor blended perfectly. He always had a way of making you feel seen and excited to be in space with him. If it wasn't for J.P. I might never have met my husband of nearly 19 years. We can still hear his laugh and playful spirit! I watched him transform and expanded in the love that Molly brought into his life. I am honored to have been witness to even a portion of J.P.'s life. 💔
I remembered him from Crossroads. He was my favorite instructor. He did make other people laugh with his jokes. We did play out a lot. He did mention more cowbell. I will miss him.
The many great loves of JP Simpson - Molly, music, friends, travel, Christmas, theatre, teaching, sun, swimming, eating, laughing, and lots of cologne. I am so glad you enjoyed all of these things abundantly throughout your life. Now, when I experience any of these in my life, you will be there with me. "Thanks for the memories".
