Janet Belsan's Obituary
Janet Belsan, 78, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1988, formerly of Cleveland, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was born August 4, 1945 in Aliquippa, PA to the late Harry and Mary (nee Rockridge) Tharp.
Janet was a longtime parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church in North Fort Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; son, Ben; sister, Bonnie and brother, Sam.
Janet is survived by her five loving children, Joe Belsan of Fort Myers, FL, Ronald Belsan (Jacqueline) of Cleveland, OH, Donald Belsan of St. Petersburg, FL, David Belsan (Ron Elmeer) of Fort Myers, FL and Cheryl Barowski of Indian Lake Estates, FL; one sister, Donna; one brother, Harry; seven grandchildren, Joseph Jr. (Beck), Krystle (AJ), Jill (Brad), Jonathan, Venice, Bobbi Jo and Amanda; two great grandchildren, Camilla and Vinny; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL in loving memory of Janet Belsan.
