Janet L. Faster's Obituary
Janet Faster, 86, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 12th, 2023. She had been a resident of Southwest Florida for 24 years.
Born in Chicago IL, Janet attended the University of Illinois where she met her husband and lifelong travel, golf, and entertainment companion, Ron. Together they traveled the world playing golf with friends and visiting exotic locations.
Janet had been a member of many clubs and organizations throughout her life including the Junior League, Ladies Auxiliary, and countless golf, bridge, mahjong, book and knitting clubs. But her passion was travel, and she was constantly planning the next travel or cruise ship adventure with family and friends.
Janet was known to be the life of the party with her outgoing social character. She loved a good joke, a glass of wine and a table full of friends.
Janet was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 57 years, Ron Faster (2012) and her brother Wilbur Crummer.
She leaves behind her sons Robert Faster (Julie) and William Faster (Kathy); and grandchildren Matthew, Katie, Michael, and Emily.
