Janet Mary Tatar's Obituary
Janet Mary Tatar of Bonita Springs and formerly of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully at HealthPark Medical Center with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 following some recent health challenges. She was 89 years old. She was born in Sewell, NJ on May 29, 1930 to the late Frank and Hannah Neidl.
Janet and her husband Norman R. Chant moved to Lehigh Acres in 1958 with their daughter, Anna Marie and son Norman "Skip", Jr. She worked as a waitress at Lehigh Corp Motel in Golden Grill. She was lovingly known as "mom" to all of her children's friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, all three of her husbands, Norman Chant, Robert Bartlett and Joseph Tartar; as well as her brothers, Robert and Frank Neidl.
She is survived two children, Anna Marie Myers and Norman R. Chant, Jr.; three grandchildren, Crystal Ann, Michael Norman (Davina) and Kevin; as well as one great grandchild, Brixton Robert Chant.
Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family will be having a memorial service once the pandemic has settled, everyone will be welcomes.
