Janice S. Wabrek's Obituary
Janice (Stavnitzky) Wabrek passed away peacefully on April 21 at The Lodge of Cypress Cove, Fort Myers, FL; she was 81. Born in Winsted, CT, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl (Rogers) Stavnitzky. She & her husband, Bob, settled in Fort Myers in 1996 after having resided in Simsbury, CT for 25 years. Janice was a tennis enthusiast; playing for many years, attending tournaments with her best friends and never missing a Grand Slam on the television. She was also an avid crossword puzzle solver & Scrabble player. She leaves behind her loving daughter & son-in-law, Joanne & Ken Myers of Sellersville, PA; 3 sister-in-laws: Dorothea Wabrek of New Hartford, CT: Linda Wabrek of Cape Coral, FL; Priscilla Wabrek of Suffield, CT; and many nieces and nephews. Janice was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert J Wabrek; a son, Richard J Wabrek; and her sister & brother-in-law, Gladys & Warren Martin. A private service will be held at the family?ÇÖs convenience.
