Darlene and Denise your mom meant the world to me I will always have a special place in my heart for her. She had a great big smile and we had some wonderful dinners at her house together. I have fond memories of all the family get-togethers when we were young. Most of all I remember Aunt Janita opening up her house to us ( me getting married in 1976 at her house) and with her kindness towards all of us. Someday we will all be together.
We will miss Jonnie’s smile and sense of humor. She was a wonderful person and leaves a hole in our hearts with her passing.
I was so saddened to hear of Jonnie passing. I have let her friends at Anthony’s know as well. At first it made things very somber until the “Jonnie” stories started flowing! One never had to wonder where they stood with this amazing woman, part of her charm! Jonnie was very good to me and I will cherish the brief time that she was in my life. My heart goes out to you all. Rest in peace, Sweet Jonnie.

Hi Darlene & Denise, I was so sad to hear about the passing of your mom. I have such fond memories of her and your dad. I still remember the summer I spent with all of you when I was about twelve. Aunt Janita, as I still refer to her as, will always be remembered in my heart as a loving, fun and tough woman. My mom still tells me stories about the fun times they all spent together in Miami.
