Jared R. Webb's Obituary
Jared Reid Webb, 35, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on January 6, 2024. Jared was born on March 17, 1988 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers.
He grew up in Cape Coral, where he attended Caloosa Elementary, Hancock Creek Elementary, and Caloosa Middle, and played baseball at nearby Hancock American Little League. In 2006, Jared graduated from North Fort Myers High School, where he had been a member of the varsity baseball team. Soon after, he went to work for his father, Mark, at Southern Gulf Equipment Rental and Sales, where he quickly climbed the ranks to take over as the new branch manager when Mark sold the company to Skyworks in 2018 and retired. Jared loved golfing, live music, his kitties Piper and Sophie, being with friends, going out to dinner, traveling, boating, and Florida State football. He had a passion for the best in life; it was a passion that was infectious to anybody lucky enough to meet him.
Jared was preceded in death by his mother, Krecia. He is survived by his father, Mark; his brothers, Jamison (Holly) and Keaton; his nephew, Jack; his grandmother, Thelma; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and countless friends in Southwest Florida and beyond.
A celebration of Jared’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 4141 Deleon St, Fort Myers, FL 33901.
