Jean Ann Verrochi's Obituary
Jean Ann Verrochi, 80 a Florida resident for the past 13 years, formerly of Cape Cod, MA and Brockton, MA passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Ft. Myers, FL. She was born April 3, 1938 in Boston, MA to George and Barbara Paquette, now deceased. She was married to the late Francis E. Verrochi for 54 years.Jean retired from the Teamsters union as a stock keeper for the Jordan Marsh Warehouse in Quincy, MA. She was a devoted mother, raising four sons and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean was an accomplished ceramics artist and enjoyed teaching others how to create ceramic art. She loved knitting and collecting dolls. Jean also loved to entertain family and friends at the backyard pool.She is survived by her four loving sons, Steven Verrochi (Margaret) of Mt. Holly, NC, Thomas Verrochi (Ann Marie) of Cape Coral, FL, Richard Verrochi of East Boston, MA and James Verrochi of Palm Beach, FL; one brother, Robert Paquette of Rhode Island; eight grandchildren, Mark, Elisabeth, Anthony, Michelle, Nicholas, Helene, Lauren and Alex; six great grandchildren, Dylan, Emma, Michael, Max, Kayla and Elisa; as well as many extended family members and friends.Along with her parents Jean was also preceded in death by her brother, John Paquette in November 2017.A Funeral Service will be held 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL.
