Jeannine Claire Normandin Baran, 84, of Fort Myers, FL died October 15, 2016 Health Park Care and Rehab Center of Cape Coral, FL. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Friday, October 21, 2016 at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Burial of ashes will be at Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord at a later date. Memorials: American Diabetes Foundation or to Church of the Resurrection Respect Life Group. Jeannine was born September 20, 1932 in Lowell, MA, the daughter of Raymond and Claire (Lemire) Lanoue. She married Edward A. Baran and he survives. Also surviving are step-sons, David Normandin, Robert Normandin, Steven Normandin of Chelmsford, MA; step-daughters Jeanne Earley, Tricia O’Keefe of Chelmsford, MA and Carol Schmidt of Cape Coral, FL; Step Grandchildren, Christine Howard, David Early, Tracy Callahan, William Normandin, Steven Normandin, Robert Normandin, Christopher Normandin, Kerry McConnell, Katherine Pastor, of Chelmsford, MA, Ashley Normandin, Kasey O’Keefe, Matthew O’Keefe, Molly O’Keefe of Chelmsford, MA and Jeannie Schmidt of Cape Coral, FL; great-stepchildren, Katherine and Brian Howard, Quinn and Laine McConnell of Burlington, MA. Jeannine graduated from St. Louis Academy in Lowell, MA and worked in the banking industry and Wang Laboratories. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church of Lowell, MA. She was a current member of Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord, Ladies Auxiliary Women’s Guild, Sharp and Flats Organ Club, “The Lunch Bunch”, San Carlos Council 2596 Ladie’s Auxiliary. She was a former Eucharistic Minister and Lay Spiritual Director of Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord. She enjoyed playing Mexican train dominoes and always had a smile on her face and ready to help anyone in need as well as caring for many family members who preceded her in death.
