Kusnierz, Jeffery's Obituary
Jeffery Kusnierz, a beloved resident of Fort Myers, Florida since 2018 and formerly of Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born in Chicago, IL to the late Walter and Evelyn (nee Pitrowski) Kusnierz, Jeff was a simple man who found happiness everywhere he went.
Jeff had an amazing personality and was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was a big jokester, always ready with a smile and a playful quip. He took pleasure in watching classic westerns and keeping up with the latest news about Donald Trump on Fox News.
Jeff was an avid fisherman, spending countless hours by the water, casting lines and reeling in memories. He loved the thrill of the hunt, whether it was tracking game in the woods or exploring the state of Kentucky. But perhaps his favorite annual tradition was the guys’ trip to the Chippewa Flowage in Wisconsin. Surrounded by friends and nature, Jeff felt truly alive during those cherished moments.
Above all, Jeff’s love for his family was undeniable. His legacy lives on through the memories shared with loved ones.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Dawn Kusnierz; three children, Nicole Kusnierz (Brian Parrish), Jeffery Kusnierz and Katie Kusnierz (Josh Morris); one sister, Maryanne Morgan (Clinton); one brother, Walter Kusnierz (Joan); six grandchildren, Landon, Cali, Hayden, Nevada, Phoenix and Dalles.
In honor of Jeffery Kusnierz, we celebrate a life well-lived, a spirit unyielding, and a heart full of love. May he rest in peace, forever remembered by those who knew and cherished him.
