Captain Jerry Way an Island Legend; Jerry knew the islands when they were simple places to live – waters full of fish, skeeters and no-seeums, no paved roads, sulfer water flowed from the tap, no AC. He forgot more about fishing than most people will ever know. He guided fishing and shelling trips with his own unique style and was always as busy as he wanted to be. I spent a lot of time at his house when I was a kid with his son Chris. Captain Jerry will be missed, the Islands, Sanibel and Captiva mourn his loss.
