Jerry Wayne Ward's Obituary
Jerry Wayne Ward, 73 years of age, of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away on January 25, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Ward was born in Hammond, Indiana on August 19, 1939, a son of the late William Edward Ward and Mary Ann Drager. Jerry was employed as a welder for many years in the steel industry. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force he served his country proudly and was honorably discharged on May 8, 1962. He had resided in the North Fort Myers area for the past 20 years coming from New Mexico. He enjoyed playing bingo at Pondella Bingo in North Fort Myers, Florida. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jeff Wayne (Gail) Ward of Orange Park, Florida, Jerry Wayne Ward and Jack William Ward both of North Fort Myers, Florida.; his grandchildren, Courtney Ward, Brittany Ward and John Ward; his sister, Vivian Ward of Munster, Indiana. At Mr. Ward?ÇÖs request there will no services or visitation. The family is being assisted by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
