Ed, Eddie & Family: It is hard to express in words the emotions you feel when you hear of the passing of a good friend. Joanne was certainly that to me. I was there when Joanne first walked into the door of a FDLE Office in the late 80's. I interviewed her, recommended her for employment with FDLE and was her first supervisor. There was only a handful of us in the office at that time so we got to know each other real well. Ever since then, until my retirement, Joanne was aways there to help bail me out of those administrative issues when I messed up, sometimes on a regular basis! When I hear the term "FDLE Family" it would certainly include FDLE members like Joanne and I who saw a lot of changes together, but through it all remained good friends! Ed and Eddie I can't tell you how saddened I was to hear the news. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys and the rest of the family!
