Joe Rader Hood's Obituary
Joe Hood, 79, a Fort Myers, FL resident since 1978, originally from Elaine, AR, passed away on June 17, 2023.
While in Fort Myers Joe owned and operated Hood’s Auto Parts & Machine shop on Palm Beach Boulevard for over 25 years. He leaves behind his furry companion Duke, whom he loved more than anything. Joe was a devout Baptist and was a member of Cypress Lake Baptist Church.
Joe is predeceased by his wife Connie but is survived by many loved ones; His two sons Dennis and Kelly and their children, Dylan, Haylee, Katlyn and Hunter, and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. A Funeral Service will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL
