Johanna Van Gaalen's Obituary
Johanna Van Gaalen, 94, of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was born February 23, 1923 in The Netherlands. In 1950, she and her husband, Nick Van Gaalen immigrated to the United States. She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Cape Coral.Mrs. Van Gaalen is survived by her son, Lee Van Gaalen (Judy) of Cape Coral; two grandchildren: Michael (Kristie) and Joseph (Heather) and one great granddaughter, Greta. She was preceded in death by her husband Nick, in 2008.In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
