I just read of Paul's passing. We were roommates in Zahm Hall Sophomore year. He was always a friendly & gentle person. Although our paths separated after graduation I remember him with good thoughts.

I just found the obituary of my dear friend Paul "clogs" Coogan and my heart is broken. I was a classmate of him in the aAND class of '66. We shared so many great times together, too many to recount. Paul was one of the most truly genuine guys that I got to know at ND. Always a smile, a a pleasure to play golf with, have a drink with, joke around with & on & on. Last w were together was a round of golf at his club with fellow Domers Bill Sellerberg & the late Jim Gallagher. In summary a wonderful friend to have had. My deepest condolences to his family. God bless you Coogs & pray for the Irish

I was pleased to meet Paul and play golf, and cheer on the fighting irish! I was especially pleased to join Paul to watch the irish play Navy in Jacksonville two seasons ago--- I was always welcomed in his home. Jack-- we share your loss especially because my wife was a good friend to your mother!
