John "Jack" Kennedy's Obituary
John "Jack" Robert Kennedy, passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 68 at Mease Countryside Hosptial in Safety Harbor, Florida. Born on August 28, 1955, Jack spent the majority of his life in Norwood, MA, until he relocated to Florida to be closer to his children.
He leaves behind a family who cherished him deeply; his daughter, Kelly Kennedy of Florida and his son, Joseph Kennedy. Loving grandfather of CJ Kennedy. Brother of Stephen Kennedy of Massachusetts. Son to the late Thomas Joseph Kennedy Sr. and Edith (DeTellis) Kennedy. Brother to the late Gary and Thomas Kennedy.
Jack graduated from Northeastern University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. His career was distinguished by his roles as Director of Business Development at Xanalys and Account Executive at both Teradata and IBM, where he was respected for his professionalism and integrity.
An avid golfer, hiker, kayaker, and traveler, Jack found joy and solace in the great outdoors and the many adventures life offered him.
A private service for family was held, and Jack was laid to rest at the Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Florida. His memory will be honored by the lives he touched and the love he shared.
In remembrance of Jack's life and spirit, contributions may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind and the charitable works that continue in his name.
