Sally, Your Christmas card was the first news of Jack’s passing. Kathy and I and our whole family are so sorry and join us in sincere condolences.
Jack was the very first person on Pine Island to stop and wish us well. He stopped that big red pickup and greeted me as he did everyone- with a big smile and a sense of humor- of course it wasn’t such a humorous situation- hurricane Charlie had just decimated our end of the island! Thoroughout our many years on your island Jack was always available for a warm greeting, help and a good conversation. I know you must miss him but we will all continue to have him as a wonderful person in our fond memories of a really great guy! David & Kathy Dickenson.

Sally, Marilyn, Patricia, and Deanna, My sincere condolences to you on Jack’s passing. My childhood was spent growing up across the street from the Lamberg’s on Circle Ave and I’m forever grateful for the friendship of our families. My memories of Jack are cooking, the numerous holidays, weddings and parties spent together, vacationing to ‘The Lamberg’s’ cottage in Wisconsin, him and my dad watching football, and his quick wit and humor. Jack, you have a beautiful legacy that will be remembered by so many - Rest in Peace. I wish God’s comfort and peace for Sally and the entire family during this difficult time.

Sadness fills our hearts knowing Jack is gone but thank You Jesus that he is not suffering any longer. We go way back in time with Jack when we all were teenagers. We have so many wonderful, fun and priceless memories and will always keep them in our hearts. The most priceless memory we have is when we were moving to TN and needed an extra driver the last minute to transport our things and Jack and Sally stepped up to the plate and he offered to drive the big truck filled with furniture while Sally drove her car and I drove with her. This way they would have a way to get back to Illinois. They made what was a stressful situation a fun-loving memory for each of us. You know you are blessed in life when you have these kinds of friends there for you. We celebrated so many Holidays, Birthdays and births of our children and every any happy occasion you could think of. Jack was our son's Godfather, and our son recalls his special caring ways that taught him to be the man he is today. Rest in Piece dear friend and know you may be gone but never forgotten.

Jack was a second father to me. Being a bff to Marilyn it brought me and her family together quite often. I invited myself to there cottage in Wisconsin and Arkansas and Jack and Sally found odd jobs for me when I was down on my luck. I am one of the lucky ones to get to know this family so well throughout the years. Jack I will always love you like a father and thank you from the deepest parts of my heart for all you and Sally have done for me over the many years. Your loving other daughter Linda.
