John James Ledda's Obituary
John James Ledda, 95, of Fort Myers, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. He was born January 27, 1919 in Italy and moved to this country as a child. He moved to Fort Myers, FL from Hastings-On-Hudson, NY in 1986. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre. He worked on Wall Street for many years as a Chartered Financial Analyst for several companies before his retirement. Mr. Ledda leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Catherine Porcheddu Ledda; his children: Carolyn Frymoyer and husband, Paul of Manlius, NY, Eugene Ledda and wife, Maureen of Daytona Beach, FL and Valerie Reiner and husband, Albert of Savoy, MA; his grandchildren: Scott, Johanna and Mark Frymoyer and his in-laws: Michaelina and Edmund Porcheddu of Fort Myers, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonardo and Maria “Mary” Ledda and his two brothers: Frank and Julio Ledda. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
