John Kenneth Long Jr's Obituary
John Kenneth Long Jr. of North Fort Myers, Florida and a lifelong resident of Southwest Florida passed away peacefully under Hospice care on Friday May 3, 2024 following some recent health challenges. He was 70 years old.
John was born at Lee Memorial Hospital on November 17, 1953, the proud son to Doris (Ratliff) and John K. Long Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent his career as a valued employee at Ajax Paving Industries as a Project Sales Consultant. John was the loving husband and leaves to treasure his memory his adored wife Tina (Judd) Long; daughter Jamie Long, son John K. Long III (Leidy), and his grandson Alekzander Long.
A Funeral Service for John will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Visitation will take place for two hours prior to this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel.

At the conclusion of these services, family and friends will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where the Honor Guard will provide Funeral Military Honors in recognition of his service as a member of the Air Force. John will thereafter be laid to rest inside the Mausoleum located inside the Garden of Serenity.
