John Clayton Lowe's Obituary
John Clayton Lowe of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully at Cape Coral Hospital with his loving family by his side on Sunday, June 13, 2021 following some recent health challenges. He was 80 years old.
John was born in Fort Myers, Florida on June 2, 1941 and was a resident of Lee County his entire life. He spent the majority of his working years in the local construction industry as a heavy equipment operator who specialized in utility construction. John was a faithful member and ordained minister with the Church of God here in Fort Myers for the better part of his life. His faith and relationship with the Lord is what was the most important to him.
He was the loving husband to and is survived by his beloved wife Rideth "Gail" (Chandler). John also leaves behind his beloved children Tammy Suciu and husband Michael of Orlando, Florida; Todd R. Lowe of Fort Myers and step-children Melanie White of Cape Coral; Tina Gardner of Davie, FL; Sherry Currie and husband Tim of Cape Coral and Mark Emrick Jr and wife Melissa of PA. He was the loving grandfather to Emily, Nicholas, Melissa, Danielle, Christopher, Angela, Brandy, Amanda, James, Joshua, Megan, Jason, Shawn, Adam, Devon, Jesseca and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Johnson and Marie Flanigan of St Charles, MO.
A Funeral Service for John will be celebrated by Pastor Robert Murphy at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for Visitation for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, guests will recess to the adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where John will be laid to rest inside the mausoleum located at the Garden of Serenity.
