JOHN NELSON JULY 14, 2009John Nelson, 70, of N. Fort Myers, longtime resident of Florida passed away July 14, 2009. Born In Paxton, IL, graduated from Monroe High School, Monroe, Wisconsin. John owned and operated Southern Pest Control in Lehigh Acres, retiring in 2002.He is survived by his son Larry Nelson, Sarasota, FL; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. His father Norman Nelson of WI and his mother Betty Deming of WI; 4 brothers Don (Diane) Nelson, Richard (Judy), Edward, James (Sharie); 3 sisters Mary Jo Bandi (Edwin), Linda Martin (Steve), Norma Radloff (Ray). Preceded in death by a son Mark.John loved life, a world traveler, former President Sarasota Coin Club, President Optimist Club, a member of many charitable organizations; member of Edsel Car Club, former Past Worthy President of N. Fort Myers Eagles Club, avid NASCAR fan, Sunshine Singles Club. He was loved and missed by many nephews and nieces.A celebration of life Friday, July 17th, 6:30 PM at River Estates Club House.
