John T. “Jack” O’Connor, 75, of Fort Myers, FL died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fort Myers, FL. He was born August 1, 1939 in New Haven, CT to the late John O’Connor and Julia Lipowski O’Connor. A graduate of Fairfield University of Fairfield, CT, Jack was an accomplished Scientist and Author in the field of Chemistry. After spending several winters in Southwest Florida, he and his wife moved to Fort Myers in March, 2014. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Nancy Guymont O’Connor and 2 brothers, James O’Connor and Robert O’Connor both from CT. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Church of the Resurrection 8121 Cypress Lake Dr. Fort Myers, FL 33919.
