John M. Ragen's Obituary
John M. Ragen, 88, of North Fort Myers, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. He was born April 26, 1926 in Woodbury, NJ and moved to North Fort Myers from Portage, MI in 1988. He received his bachelor and Masters Degree from Univ. of PA. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He has been an employee of Lynx Services, L.L.C. since 2007.m Mr. Ragen leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 39 years, Geraldine (Lavey) Ragen; his son, Mark A. Ragen and longtime companion, Sheila Wales of Naples; his step-son, Carl Walsh of Algonquin, IL; his daughter, Michelle Strauss and husband, Kevin of Okemos, MI; his cousin, Bill Ragen and his grandchildren: Kaitlin and Kendra Ragen, Andy, Danny, K.J. and Stacy Strauss. Friends will be received from 5:30 – 7:30 PM Wed. Dec. 17, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2157 Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. Following the Mass, Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy.
