John Andrew Smith's Obituary
John Andrew Smith, 89, of North Fort Myers, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 following an extended illness. He was born October 26, 1926 to Robert Gordon and Kathryn (Morton) Smith in Corry, PA and moved to Florida in 1960. He was a Navy veteran and served in World War II. He was a 32nd. Degree Mason and member of Noah Masonic Lodge, F & A.M. in North Fort Myers. Mr. Smith is survived by his children: Lynette Hitzing of Fort Myers, Jacquelyn J. Tillman (husband, Tim) of North Fort Myers, Clifford R. Smith (wife, Sandra) of Fort Myers and Jilane M. Styles (husband, Kenny) of Ocala. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vera J. Smith in 2010, his parents, and his son-in-law, Charles Hitzing. Private graveside services were held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
