John William Tagtmeir of Fort Myers, Florida passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday, August 26, 2017 following some recent health challenges. He was 67 years old.John was born on September 17, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the proud son of Lorraine (Kozak) and Bernard Tagtmeir. He was a veteran of the United States Army and spent his working life as a restaurant chef following his military service. He was married to and is survived by his loving wife Kathleen Ann (Brew) Tagtmeir.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private.
