John Gordon ‘Jack’ Wagner, age 85, passed on September 2, 2012 at Ft Myers Health Park Hospice. Jack was raised in northern Minnesota enlisting in the Army Air Force in 1944.?áFollowing his Service, Jack graduated from Northern State College in Aberdeen, S.D.?áIn his professional life he was an educator in Wisconsin and Illinois and was also with Burroughs Corporation as a consultant for commercial technologies in upper Michigan and Illinois.?áAt 50, Jack relocated to Florida where he started a commercial cleaning service (1980 to 2008).?áJack had a life time interest in aviation and was also a talented vocalist and musician with a love of the big band era and its music. Jack is survived by his cherished wife, Dorothy, recently celebrating 64 year of marriage. Also surviving are their children: Michael, Steven, Deborah Specht (Greg), Douglas (Chrystal), and Jack Wagner; Grandchildren, Caleb Wagner (Donna), Joe and Erick Wagner, Keri and Christopher Wagner, Dr. Zephen Specht and Matthew, Kevin, Campbell and Piper Wagner; Great grandchildren, Devon and Ashley Pritchard and Matthew and Patricia Wagner. Proceeded in death by his son, Clifford Wagner. At his request only a family memorial service is planned.
