John Carl Wayne's Obituary
John Carl Wayne, 83, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on December 7, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
He was born on December 5, 1942, in Hammond, Indiana, the son of the late Guy Warren Wayne and Frances Vera (Stepp) Wayne.
Mr. Wayne was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to helping others as a first responder, serving his community with compassion and commitment as an Emergency Medical Technician. His life was marked by service, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to those in need.
He is survived by his son, John Robert Wayne, daughter-in-law Kelly, grandson Griffin, and favorite dog Ruby, of Fort Myers, Florida.
Funeral services will be private.
