Jonathan Cloud's Obituary
Jonathan Reade Cloud, 75, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on December 21, 2025. He was born on November 8, 1950, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Joseph Dixon Cloud and Anna Katharine Cloud.
Jonathan grew up in Indiana and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. In 1980, he relocated from Richmond, Indiana, to Florida, where he continued to build a life rooted in hard work, service, and dedication.
Prior to retirement, Jonathan worked as a salesman for Radio Shack and also managed a movie theater for COBB Theatres, roles through which he made lasting friendships and was known for his quick wit and friendly demeanor. He was also a proud member of the NRA.
Jonathan is survived by his three children: Chris Cloud of Indianapolis, Indiana; Heather Cloud of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Tina Dickerson of Texas. He also leaves behind two brothers, Terry Miller and Bruce Miller; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember him with love.
He was preceded in death by Keith Grover, Mark Grover, and Vanessa Paris, along with other family members who welcomed him home with open arms.
Jonathan will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, and the deep pride he had for his family and his service.
