Josefina Rivera's Obituary
Josefina Rivera of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday, November 16, 2020 following some recent health challenges. She was 89 years old.
Josefina was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico on March 21, 1931 and was the beautiful daughter to Ines Rios and Celestino Sanchez. She leaves behind a very loving immediate family, a cherished extended family and many others she met along life's journey who were proud to call her a friend. She will be warmly remembered and fondly missed.
A Funeral Service for Josefina will be celebrated by Pastor Jose Otero of Park Alliance Church at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2020 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Friends will be welcome for two hours preceding this ceremony for Visitation beginning at 11:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these services, friends and family will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Josefina will be laid to rest inside the Mausoleum located inside the Garden of Serenity.
