Dr. Joseph E. Albanese's Obituary
Dr. Joseph E. Albanese 69 of Cape Coral passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2024. He was born in Newark, NJ and was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Augusta Albanese. He is survived by his brother William (Helene) Albanese of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and sister Mary (Albanese) Mell of N Fort Myers, FL and multiple nieces, their children and cousins throughout NJ and FL.
Dr. Albanese was a graduate of the University of Florida and the Cebu Institute of Medicine. He practiced in New York and Florida as an Internal Medicine Specialist most recently in Cape Coral, FL. He was Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology and had over 39 years of experience as a practicing physician. His dedication and passion for his patients was unparalleled. He will be greatly missed by his family, patients, and the medical community.
Memorial services will take place 11:00AM August 10, 2024, at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome a donation be made to the Cape Coral Goodwill in Joseph's memory.
