Joseph Stevens Dozier Jr. September 7, 1948 - October 30, 2022
Joe died peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Montgomery Alabama. He is preceded in death by his son Joseph Stevens Dozier III, his brother, Vaughan Robison Dozier, his mother, Laura Robison Dozier, and his father, Joseph Stevens Dozier. Joe leaves behind the love of his life Jeanne Skinner Dozier of 54 years, his daughter Jeanne Dozier Bartlett (Tyler), his grandson Dozier Bruce Bartlett, his sister in law Frances Dozier, his sister Laura Hendrix (Jack), his brother Haywood Dozier (Cindy) and many nieces, and nephews, cousins and many friends.
Joe loved the Lord, his family and friends. He will be missed by many. Joe was a local business man in Ft. Myers Florida for over 25 years and he believed in giving back to the community that contributed to his success. He was a quiet man that loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 2438 Second Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901 (A private internment will be held for the Dozier family at Memorial Gardens, Ft. Myers Florida prior to the church celebration of his life)
