Marge and DonnaI would like to express how sorry we were to hear about Joe's passing. I knew Joe as an Uncle, and a friend. It was always nice that Joe would greet Diana, Barb, and Jill like it just made his day. Joe helped a lot of people and we were among them. During the gas shortages of the 1970's we never had to worry about gas for the trucks…or where to park them…these are just a couple of many things Joe did for our family. Marge and Donna,I have fond memories of Joe and Ethyl at the gas station. Grandpa would take us to the gas station and Joe would show us how Ethyl could count. Great memories!

Marge and DonnaOur hearts ached when we heard the news of Joe's passing. He was like a fatherto us. We know he is in a peaceful place and pain free now. Tony has many memoriesof Joe when we worked for him at the gas station. Marge and Donna, I'm sorry to here about Joe's passing. He was a good man. He made a lot of people laugh at the gas station. I was about 25 when I worked for Joe now I'm an old fart of 63. He left me with a lot of good memories, as they say those were the good old days. I'll say a prayer for him and I know he's in a lot of peoples hearts. God bless you, Joe. Tom Arroyo

Marge and DonnaMemories of Joe are fresh as yesterday in my mind, it would be difficult for them not to be.He was always so good to me as he was to many.I can remember him making deliveries to Calumet Heat Treating, and having dinner with the two of you and occasionally Donna would be there. Working for him at Joe's Gulf, and having you and Donna come by for gas and an occasional car wash, are just a few of the memoriesWe laughed a lot at my last visit and I will really miss him at our next.Gary Borner

Joe has a special place in many hearts, Matthew looked for him every Sunday. Was concerned if he didn't see him. Marge and Donna,The Giblin Family extends their condolences to your family on the loss of Joe.Joe was responsible for me getting my first job (at about 12 years old). I was as a dish washer at Nickâ??s Drive Inn, a place Joe frequented for its great coffee and sweet rolls. I think Joe may also have worked there in his teens. As kids, Normal Avenue was a personal play ground for the Giblins, Godbouts ,etc.. I remember learning to skate in the street and Joe coming out with his own skates and putting on a real show for us. He could even skate backwards. I donâ??t know about any of the other kids, but Joe really impressed me. Joe made a point of being happy and his smile was contagious. Joe will be remembered as a â??good guy â??and will be missed by all of us.John, Catherine, and Mary (Burton) and the entire Giblin Family
