Joe was always smiling and jovial. Even when we went to visit him in the hospital he was apologizing to Bill for not having a beer to give him! I spent many hours with Joe putting together a video for his birthday. His love for his family was evident in the way he spoke about his wife, kids, grandchildren and extended family. He was a great man who served his family and his country. We will miss you, Joe.
What an amazing man! I am so thankful for the men that my wonderful husband has gained so many wonderful qualities from. Grandpa J is one of them! He will be missed so much.

Tim and I are sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure knowing Joe, Sr. and sharing many family moments with him at our home and yours. Even as he was getting older, he was still always wanting a hug and kiss. He played with my grandchildren and they made each other laugh. He was a sweet, kind, family man who I will remember as always smiling. I admire his zest for life. 90 years old and still golfing, flirting, smiling and not on medication. Joe was doing something right. He was quite a guy and a joy to be around. Joe we will miss you. Rest in peace with the Lord.
