Joseph F. “Joe” Lyman, 79, of Cape Coral, FL, died 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. Memorials: Hope Hospice Joe was born March 26, 1935, in Burlington, VT, the son of Francis J. and Violet (Francis) Lyman. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He married Marcia Hoag, January 19, 1979 in Burlington, VT. After retirement from the military, Joe worked as a financial manager of a medical center. During his leisure time, Joe enjoyed watching sporting events on television. Surviving are his spouse Marcia; son, Greg Lyman of Burlington, VT; stepson Jeff Hoag and his wife Rhonda of Bristol, VT; step-daughter, Julie Ringuette and her husband Charles of Colchester, VT, daughter Lisa Lyman of AZ, brother Thomas Lyman of VT; sister Gayle Ravey and her husband Patrick of SC, and brother in law, Roland LaVallee of SC., and five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents..
