I have so many beautiful memories as a child of both Uncle Joe (before he changed to Joseph) and Aunt Corinne. My sister (Mary) and I spent a summer with them when they lived in Maryland. When it was time for dinner whoever said "Grace" first would win a prize and being that he had 4 boys the prize was always a hot wheel car lol! He took my sister Mary and I to visit Washington DC to visit the historic sites, that summer was filled with so many beautiful child memories from swinging on the vines to going blueberry picking with my cousins, then getting in trouble for washing and staining Aunt Corinnes sink. Aunt Corinne taught me how to match my clothes, I had a habit of wearing my favorite things together a flowered shirt with a plaid pair of shorts lol! We always had a bedtime snack milk and cookies. Our families were so close my father convinced both his sisters families Rita and Corinne to move to CT. We just built our first home a small 3 bedroom ranch in Norwich CT, and Aunt Corinne Mike, Paul and Ronnie stayed with us for the summer as their house was being built. Ray had already left the nest to marry the love of his life Vivian. I had to give up my bedroom to Mike where I learned about having a pen pal lol. Uncle Joe made his boys work hard they mowed the huge lawn in front on a big hill, they helped my dad refinish the basement and build a bar under the stairs, they turned the back yard into a huge deck surrounding the "L" Shaped pool, we had so many memories at their newly built house we would go every weekend for barbeques, swimming, and playing pokeno for peanuts. The grown ups had a professional card table where they played pitch, and I got to fill in when someone had to go to the bathroom lol! When my dad moved to Florida he convinced them to come too, Aunt Doris came too, so the 3 siblings were together again in the same town. I was so proud when Uncle Joe baptized my son Justin, it was such an honor. There are to many memories to list, it's a lifetime worth, I feel blessed to be able to grow up around such loving devoted kind people. My memories will live forever and my love will never die. Uncle Joe is in heaven with Aunt Corinne and Ronnie may they rest in peace. Amen.
