Josh William Fernandez's Obituary
On Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM, we lost our beloved Josh, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend.?á Josheman as his Mom would call him, was born June 5, 1990 and from day one, he impacted everyone he met.?á He was a precocious and fun loving child and as a teen, he was headstrong and fearless.?á Josh was artistic in many ways.?á He designed all of his own tattoos and taught himself to play drums, guitar, piano and several other instruments.?á Josh had a way of making friends with anyone he met.?á No one who knew him ever said, ?Ç£that?ÇÖs just Josh?Ç¥.?á They said, ?Ç£that?ÇÖs my FRIEND Josh?Ç¥.?á He and his brother made many trips to Georgia with his grandparents.?á He loved the fresh air in the mountains, where many cherished memories were created.?á He also loved the beach and attending the medieval fair with his mother and brother.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á At the age of 17, Josh was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Chiari Malformation which led to brain surgery at 18 years old.?á Soon thereafter he was hit again with another devastating diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis.?á Through all this, Josh always maintained his sharp wit and beautiful smile, but sadly in the end, Myasthenia Gravis took him from us at 21 years old.?á What Josh left us was a web of friendships, with him as the common thread.?á He was and always will be a bright spot in our lives.?á We all love you and will forever miss you Josheman.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á He is survived by his mother , Tina Fernandez; his brother, John Fernandez; his maternal grandparents, Mary and Bill Fernandez; his Uncle and Aunt Joe and?á ?áPamela Fernandez, his God Mother Lori Clendenen and many ?áAunts, Uncles Cousins, Nieces and Nephew ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Gazebo at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.?á Online condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
