Jostin Divad Alan Brito's Obituary
Jostin Divad Alan Brito, 21, a lifelong Florida resident passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 24, 2022, in Hialeah, Florida. He was born July 15, 2000, in Zephryhills, FL.
Jostin was the most genuinely kindhearted person you could ever meet, he was funny, loving, fearless, and incredibly hard working. He loved to make people laugh and would choose the most random time to play a joke. Growing up he aspired to join the armed forces and be a ranger. As a kid you could find him making guns out of paper and he would hide within the trees or on rooftops or climbing the hallway walls pretending to be your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. He also had a love for basketball and art he was always working on improving his technique both on the court and with a pencil.
Jostin grew up in a household of women, he was the only man of the house for many, many years and wore that title with so much pride. He would grow up to be a provider and a protector and again the most kindhearted person, the absolute epitome of what we all hope a young man would grow up to be.
Jostin was the fun uncle, his nieces and nephews absolutely adored him. He would spend hundreds of dollars on nerf guns and spent all day playing with the kids. “It’s for the kids” he would say. But everyone that knew him, knew it was for him. He never lost the child at heart in him. Jostin loved playing pranks on all the kids, but he would also brush their hair and made sure that they were all looking fresh.
Jostin was an amazing son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend but there was not a role that he played better than that of being a father. Jostin loved his children more than absolutely anything in this universe The love for his kids was amazing to watch he would put them above all else.
Jostin is survived by his two adored children, Xzavion and Skylar of Miami, FL; mother, Yesenia Brito of Cape Coral, FL; the mother of his children, Cindy Calzadilla of Miami, FL; two sisters, Dulce Gianna Brito and Angel Victoria Brito of Wesley Chapel, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 PM, Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. A Funeral Service will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Fort Myers, FL.
