Joyce D. (Hepburn) Lattanzio's Obituary
Joyce D. (Hepburn) (Healey) Lattanzio of Sarasota 84 passed away unexpectedly April 29, 2019. She was born in Providence, RI July 23, 1934 daughter of the late George and Martha (Smith) Hepburn and loving wife of the late Frank Lattanzio. Loving mother of sons Charles R. Healey, Jr. and William L. Healey, daughters Patricia A. Healey, Debora A. Zaborski, the late Sheri L. Capron stepchildren Darlene Golomb, Patricia Gallo, and the late Gary Lattanzio, grandchildren Gail, Dana, Ryan, Beth, Jimmy, Alicia, Jennifer, Anthony and Nicole, great grandchildren Levi, Abram, Sydney, Mosley, Nathan, Lucy, Hadley, Camden, and John. She was the loving sister of George H. Hepburn.She graduated from Gorton High School in 1952 and studied music at the Rhode Island Conservatory of Music. She performed in competition, local radio, concerts, church choirs and various community shows. She was active in the Young Democrats and the Coventry Players in Rhode Island for many years. She worked as a singer on WEAN Radio, performed at numerous local venues, the Town of Coventry, and the State of Rhode Island before moving to Michigan in 1981. She retired to North Fort Myers, Florida in 1988 where she enjoyed golfing, tennis, the beach, traveling and volunteering before moving to Sarasota in 2015.Joyce will be interred at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens at 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Services will be private. Memorial gifts may be made to American Heart Association.
