Joyce E. Kuck, 74, of Fort Myers, Florida formerly of Depauville/ Watertown area passed away on Monday December 23, 2013 under the care of Hope Hospice House, Fort Myers. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Kuck Sr, Fort Myers; two sons William Smith Jr and companion Tina Searchfield, Watertown, NY and Michael (Lori) Smith, Watertown, NY; four daughters Kim Smith, Watertown, NY; Carole (Robert) Tibbles, Theresa, NY; Sandra (John) Mullis, Watertown, NY; and Melissa (Matthew) Nathan, Watertown, NY; two sisters Toni (Terry) Slate, Evans Mills, NY and Carrie Denny, Florida; an Uncle and Aunt Ronald and Jane Darou, Cortland, NY; two stepdaughters and one stepson, Maria Dolores (Dennis) Soucy, Florida; Maria Elena (Wally) Provan, Florida; Randy (Christine) Kuck, Vermont; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Previous marriages to William Smith Sr (deceased) and Carl Premo ended in divorce. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Roberta (Darou) Denny; two sisters, Ruth Denny and Bonnie Baxter; and a stepson Robert J Kuck Jr. Joyce was born Joyce Evelyn Denny on May 25, 1939 in Depauville, NY. She attended the one room schoolhouse in Depauville. While raising her children, she was employed at Gibson Laundry Service, Mercy Hospital (13 yrs) and Samaritan Keep Nursing Home until her retirement in 1994. Joyce loved playing bingo, traveling with her husband, playing the card game “Kings in a Corner”, watching the daytime drama, “Young and the Restless” and spending time with family. Upon her request, there will be no calling hours. Graveside burial will be in the spring at Depauville Cemetery in NewYork . Online condolences can be expressed at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
