Cinde Breedlove
Joyce was a devoted friend to my mother, Marjorie Kohut, for seven decades and a delightful, funny, and eternally optimistic second mother to me. Their friendship that began as nurse cadets during WWII and stretched into their 90s was a loving model of women supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. A fearless and sunny person, Joyce was a much-appreciated link to my mother in the years since mom died. I will always be grateful to Joyce for her unconditional love and support to me and my mother.
