Juan Lora's Obituary
Juan Lora, 93, of Cape Coral, FL, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at Gulf Coast Medical Center.
Born on January 9, 1932, in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Juan was the beloved son of the late Tomas and Aminta (Peralta) Lora. He dedicated much of his life to the craft of tailoring, working both in his native Dominican Republic and later in New York, where he served his community with skill and pride. Even in retirement, Juan remained active, most recently working at Walmart, where he enjoyed connecting with people and staying engaged with everyday life.
Juan is survived by his devoted wife, Ana Lora, and their loving daughter, Anybel. He will be remembered for his enduring work ethic, warm spirit, and the deep love he had for his family.
A funeral service celebrating Juan’s life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Family and friends will be received beginning at 11:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial and a reception will follow.
