Juan Miguel Rodriguez's Obituary
Juan Miguel Rodriguez, 81, a 35 year resident of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of New York passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born March 16, 1939 in Puerto Rico to the late Juan and Teodora Rodriguez.
Miguel was a proud United States Army Veteran. After time served, he returned to his home State of New York where he began his career as a Train Engineer. Eventually retiring from the position and later relocating with his wife Elsa to Florida. Proud number 1 Yankee Fan and avid Racquetball player. Miguel was preceded in death by his two brothers, Victor and Alfonso.
Miguel is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsa Rodriguez of Cape Coral, FL; two children, John Delgado of Cape Coral, FL and Diana Delgado of Buckingham, FL; one daughter-in-law, Angela Delgado, one sister, Sara Rodriguez of Puerto Rico; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Elise, Madeline, Kristina, Annisa, Jessica and Rory; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
