Juanita Meredith Brawner died peacefully at home on April 17, 2011.?á Juanita was born March 23, 1920 in Dozier, Alabama.?á When she was 18, Juanita and her family moved to Fort Myers. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á She is predeceased by her parents, William Buren and Mattie Ola Meredith; brothers and sisters-in-law: Glenn (Myrt) Meredith, Pascal (Dell) Meredith and sister, Dorotha.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á In 1948, she married John Otis Brawner (deceased) and has three children: Linda Brawner of Fort Myers, Terry Brawner of Fort Lauderdale, Richard (Carole) Brawner of Bonita Springs, a bright and beautiful granddaughter, Leigh Brawner of Bonita Springs and an adopted in our hearts son, Craig (Patti) Whitney of Fern Creek, Kentucky and their children: Ross and Lee Whitney. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Juanita is also survived by her sister, Sybil (Robert) Ellis of E.Green Bush, New York; brother-in-law, Jack (Syble) Brawner of Hernando, Florida and sister-in-law, Beverly Brawner (Lawrence) Kirkland of Chiefland, Florida.?á She is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a huge, fabulous collection of cousins and their children. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Family and friends will remember Juanita with her beautiful red hair, bright blue eyes and her kind, caring and loving soul.?á She is loved and will be missed. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.?á ?á?á?á?á?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.?á Online condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
